Michael Cera, was born on June 7, 1988 in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. At the age of three, Michael Cera came down with the chicken pox and watched Ghostbusters repeatedly while he was ill. Watching Ghostbusters, as well as Bill Murray’s top notch performance, is what fueled the fire for acting in Michael Cera. He had been bitten by the acting bug and there was no turning back!
Michael Cera had his first acting role early on in an unpaid Tim Hortons summer camp commercial. This commercial lead to a Pillsbury commercial where he had his first set of lines and also got to poke the Pillsbury Doughboy. Every child wanted to do that; I am sure Cera’s peers loved it!
